I was one of the early guys here when the Forum started up, posted a bit, generally got along with folks (I think) and then stopped posting because life.
I was in oil and gas and after covid, well...
The industry wasnt the job for life id hoped, and I need to find something else, so I did a Software boot camp, got taken on by one of those training companies that train you up further then place you as a consultant with a company/companies over a 2 year period, after which you're free to leave or stay on.
Fortunately I got placed with an established company who want to take me on after the 2 years, and the tech exposure im getting is pretty cutting edge stuff.
Its sometimes tough to keep up, especially taking on a career change in my 40s, but I manage it.
I've just started messing around with guitars again after 18 months of them sitting there looking at me, and trying to re-engage with the guitar communities I was part of.
But at least im not worried what im going to do anymore
So, hi again everyone, hope you're all well, here's some gear pics
