R.I.P. Bob Weir

Another legend gone .
He wrote some great songs such as Playin’ in the Band & Sugar Magnolia. He sung lead on many tracks including Truckin’. So they have all gone now Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Surely one of America’s greatest ever bands.

Bob Ace Weir - “The Greatest Story Ever Told” is my favourite of his songs

Moses come riding up on a quasar
His spurs were jingling, the door was ajar
His buckle was silver, his manner was bold
And I asked him to come in out of the cold.

Abraham and Isaac sitting on a fence
You'd get right to work if you had any sense
You know the one thing we need is a left-hand monkey wrench.

RIP Bob Thanks for the years of great music.👍

RIP. Not a fan of the Dead but know the immense impact he and his group had on musicians around the world throughout the years.

Saw this posted by a FB friend and cracked up. Spolier because I don't know what kind of sense of humor he has or what he feels about Mayer :bag

The dead are my favorite band. They make me both so happy with their music and message but also so sad that I never got to see them.

Bobby lived such a full and amazing life. Very sad that he is gone but very very happy he was here. My life is better because of what he did and for that I'm forever grateful.

Thanks Bobby, rest in peace
