Hey guys! All of my Halo knobs feel sturdy and have some heft or slight resistance as you turn them. Except for one, the center Feedback knob. It is nuch easier to turn and feels looser than the others.

Are y’all’s like that too?

I tested my Halo, and yes, the center Feedback knob has slightly less turn resistance when compared to the other controls.

All of mine feel fine, but they're low-friction pots :clint

The feedback knob on my Halo (original - about three years old, now) is also looser-feeling than the others (not as silky smooth), but likely due to the fact that it's the alternate knob "switch" for all five knobs.

Probably had to be designed a little bit differently, in order to accommodate that feature.

The same holds true with my Eccos and Hydra pedals, which seem to come from the same Keeley family of pedals and share that common feature and looser center knob feel.

I've never liked this, but it's never given me grief, either; so I guess I can't complain.

The same alt function access (for high pass filter, saturate, and tone control) is available on the Core, but you have to press and hold the Tap/Hold (lower right) button, which is a more traditional soft switch. I personally like the feel of that switch better, but it would have looked pretty silly on the OG Halo, and that alternate parameter design seems pretty intuitive, once you get used to the layout.

Is that Halo Core purple? Looks sweet.

Thanks. It is Purple!

Keeley refer to it as Plasmaetic Purple. It's from their custom shop. I missed two or three rounds of this pedal's release (in the original black color), but when this one was mentioned, I jumped on it right away, and couldn't be happier! I got a 15% off price break, for this being the first purchase I made directly, through their website - an added bonus :-).

I'm not a photographer, by any stretch of the imagination, and have been unable to get any pictures I've taken of that pedal, to do it justice.

It actually looks a lot nicer, in person.
