Yes. So if you're in a hurry with song timing, you have to plan to be holding the b first and then stomp on the scene button in time. Easier to have an mc8 ready for scene changes and allocate the qcm buttons for effect bypass.

I’d say a user who wants to switch between 8 scenes without an external controller would be better served with a full sized QC in the first place.
