If / When you get one, plug it into your computer to do the updates if it's not on 4.0 yet. I have yet to connect mine to wifi because it's just not necessary. It uses your computer's internet connection when it's connected via USB.

I'm loving this thing so far.

I've got great Captures of my amps (so easy to make V2, seamless) and I've got a Preset that I can just copy and paste into to new Presets and then just update the Capture block. Everything stays the same, just the Capture block changes. Super simple.

It backs up to your computer and the cloud so you have an "off site" backup and you can just "refresh" the backups, basically overwrite them. You can store 5 backups in the cloud and unlimited ones on your computer. There is even a button that takes you right to the folder on your computer where it saves the backups (looks like a set of Tits but I guess it's supposed to be eyeballs). Backs up in like 10 seconds. Very cool.

I got the QC Fat, it was just a similar situation that I sold it (instead of cancelling the order) before even opening it. Back then (2021) it was a “cloud only” device and I really couldn’t deal with that.

Oh, I see. I didn't immediately notice the date on that TOP posting. So you're on to a 2nd QC now, and having a better time with it?

I have to admit, I was expecting the QC to start fading from the spotlight this year. It was seeming like they wouldn't be able to develop fast enough to keep relevant vs. the competition. Their timing with V2 captures and the Mini hardware was impeccable, though.

Are you sure they have zero stock? When my first QC arrived DOA (allow myself to introduce myself) they claimed they wouldn't be able to replace it for a month or so. I'd already waited a couple of months for the broken one, so I "went full Karen" (in the parlance of the day) - or as near to it as my personality permits LOL - and suddenly they had one for me. (I imagine someone else got a disappointing phone call later that day. )

Just call and tell them you're cancelling* if they can't ship immediately, and see how they respond. They might have a couple "in case of emergency break glass" units.

I'm sure. My rep has been with me for quite some time and I do professional business with him as well so he's pretty straight shooting. I never get any discounts but I also never buy anything personally for that exact reason

Either way, you can still return it out of spite when all is said and done.

"Thanks for reaching out! Looks like February if we get you in for a preorder quickly. Otherwise, we’re probably looking at March or later."

I'm going to get through today and email him and see if I have already lost a February slot. If it was anything else; I would not be anywhere near as agitated because I get it but, well...you know
