I'm not a business person but wouldnt hardware and software teams be separate? Also, this thing runs the same CorOs as the QC so would it really take any time away from software development?

I don't get the QC hype. I tried a limited white quad cortex last week from a friend and it felt lifeless to me.

It’s a great format and has the potential to replace my racked QC with the existing midi Implementarion as I use it for amp redundancy only.

If they improved the midi for definitive on/off states it could go much further.

Not into the all-glass(?) front, makes it look super cheap. Surprised they did away with the sexy grey enclosure.
Nice size though, and the footswitch spacing is much better.

$1400 is steep for a four footswitch device! But I guess if I wanted a QC today, of the two I'd go for the mini version.

Hardware team designs something, they're going to need the software team to work on the UI/switching stuff at minimum.

In any case, last year the QC development progress was pretty abysmal. Let's see if it picks up this year.
