I have created this thread in an effort to highlight people's favorite captures/presets/models.

What are the captures/amp models that you use the most?

It would be helpful if there was some context to the recommendations as well.
Perhaps, some helpful notes like:
Genre / Gain Level / (Lead/Rhythm) / maybe guitar used? / (publicly on cloud / private sale through vendor) / link, etc...

Summary table (updated once in a while. if your entry isn't there don't be offended - I have no intention of tracking every line item or monitoring this thread indefinitely)
just hoping it will add some value.

Just tried it. Sounds like I remember the Kemper profiles sounding.

Am I right in thinking this is a capture of a Kemper profile then captured by the QC?

As I've been saying from day one: the ENGL Rainbow captures, despite being V1, are glorious IMO. Just a great tonal balance and very easy to play. (They make me wish I bought a Blackmore sig back when they were relatively cheap.)

Sometimes you need models instead of captures, so that you can dial things in freely. For rock and roll, it's still hard to beat the Brit 2203 with your choice of OD in front. For cleans, the US DLX 64 Vintage is very natural sounding. For something even cleaner and more modern, the Bogner Uber Clean is killer.

If I remember correctly the Tonehub pack was 1 for 1 of the Kemper pack.

Not saying this is a bad thing. I knew many that really liked it.
I know they released packs that were either Tonehub or Kemper. Now whether the Tonehub was just a capture of the kemper, I don't know. But they were marketed as 2 different products

Soldano and Nolly PCOMs. I despise captures.

EDIT:
“Discovered” the PV505… lol because I’m lame. But it’s now my favorite model.

Father and Son factory preset is also killer!

You could instead have a sign up list of those interested in sharing captures. Then just share them via the app when you find a cool one

The goal was just to cut though some of the mud of surfing the cloud. Just because captures are popular and are the most downloaded doesn't truly mean that people are using them. There are also many paid options out there that may or may not be fantastic. Obviously people have different tastes and end goals but it would nice to see what the forum regulars are actually using. I wasn't trying to make it too complicated.

This would be much more efficient to have a shared Google Sheet where you allow access to those of who request it. That way we can add entries ourselves and you won't have to do that. Could be categorized by genre or whatever you wanted to do. I'm too lazy to set all that up though lol

The more I use it, the more I like it.

Profile:

A few things to note on my Captures and Presets.

All the Captures are Direct (no Cab). All the Presets use the same IR.

The Drive, Reverb and Delay are set to Footswitches F, G, H. Turning on the Delay will also turn on a 5 second Blossom Reverb. Any lower gain Preset was setup with using a Drive in mind but they still sound good without a Drive. I can't believe how good the Mesa Multi-Watt Rectifier Channel 1 Pushed came out this morning for a lower gain drive sound.

The hearing in my left ear is a little fukd, so I have all my Presets with the Output volume pushed over to Left 5db.

I also have a dry signal sent out the Send1 but it's muted on all Presets. I unmute this to feed the AXE3 for creating Captures as I figured out you can use either the Capture Out or Send1 for Captures. This way I can leave everything cabled up and just unmute when I want to create a Capture, using the AXE3 if I want Drives from the AXE in the Capture.

I just finished making all the Presets and Captures public. Enjoy!
