PSA: Wilde Pickups (Bill Lawrence) Holiday Sale

Finally got the Microcoils installed in the Tele.

Had some issues, I think related to running a ground wire? I redid some of the wiring to clean things up and I couldn't get the bridge pickup to really work properly, but took off the ground lead from the bridge plate to the controls and now it works?

Anyways, these things sound really good! They are extraordinarily dynamic...using a Plexi model cranked up in the Axe FX I roll the volume to 5 and it goes from really saturated to absolutely crystal clean. Probably better than any pickup I've tried before.

Also they are really sweet in the high end. I've read that description a lot but they don't have the harshness you can get in single coils even with lots of gain. They are well balanced too, not too dark in the neck or too bright in the bridge.

They are not noiseless for sure, dunno how much they compare to true singles though.

The old Bill Lawrence L-250 are an amazing pickup, great neck pickups in neck position of an S,S H configured Metal guitar.
They only bring out what the guitar naturally has, no coloration at all.

Plus, any XL-500 BL pickup wound below 12.50k ohms, in the neck position will also broadcast the natural area of the guitars tone without adding gain.
These sound great with acoustic simulators and sizzle cleanly when pushed hard in that position.
