OK ... I'm biased .... but at the risk of proselytizing, see here:-

Only $99 for May [down from $199] .... and if you have qualifying Hardware, you'll probably get it for $79

Ignore if you want Metal or Really Hard Rock, but for everything else, you'll get 6 x Amps covering 13 x different Channels / Versions that will cover pretty much anything you could want and give you stellar sounding and feeling tones.

The included efx are equally stellar.

I.m.h.o ... crazy-no-brainer-deal if you are looking for a Top Tier Plugin with a palette of classic Amps and efx.

I’ve got all the individual amps besides the Dumble, and all other UAD plugins. Upgrade price is $79+TAX which I’m still finding a bit steep, just based on what I have already and my own preferences.

I know inevitably it’ll get included in a bundle, updated with more amps or discounted further (or some combination of these). I think for newer users to UA it’s a much better deal than for those who are well invested already.

%100 agree. I was just thinking for people who don't have any / much UAD stuff. As you know - and put me onto - its a stunning sounding and feeling guitar suite :)

No idea why they released the plugin without the Recto and 5150, when the pedal versions had been out for quite awhile. Hopefully it gets updated with those. $99 is really reasonable though, despite not having IR loading.

I don't think they themselves quite knew what they wanted it to be. They did have some survey about what people would like to see - additions to the Paradise Studio, or new plugins.

I'm not sure which side I'd lean on. On one hand it's nice to have everything together, on the other e.g "vintage tones" vs "modern tones" plugins can be a good distinction when you can have everything tuned towards a specific goal.

UA have been somewhat good at ignoring everything that customers ask for and making a somewhat concise product, even if it means compromise for some uses. I hope they retain some of that approach as IMO things where they’ve been too ambitious have been a bit of a disaster (LUNA is a big mess IMO).

To give them credit, I like that they’re offering all the amp sims as individual plugins as well as an all in one guitar studio plugin. I way prefer the individual ones but others will have a preference to have everything self contained

Are there actually UAD Plugins of the Recto and 5150 ?

I thought (?) UAD *only* [so far] had plugins for the Showman, Dlx Rev, AC30, Lion, Woodrow and and Enigmatic 82 (?)

No I just figured these are all amps that exist in the pedals, right? So why not do all the pedals in the plugin? I'm sure it'll come eventually.
