PRS taking a page from Reverend’s playbook?

I think I've swapped the push/pull pots on every PRS I've had for a regular pot. I can't stand them. Only one I haven't done yet is my CE-24 and that's overdue for new pots honestly.
 
I listened to a couple videos comparing this high pass filter and the coil tap and I honestly prefer the sound of the coil tap. This is slightly less noise floor given the tap I think is like 70/30 for each coil or close to that but i think the tap gets closer single coil tones. (At least via studio monitors listening to the comparison)

I believe the circuit is thought more like a set and forget option, therefore a switch is a better choice than a push pull pot, in my opinion.
