PRS Nitro, is it as reactive as Gibson's?

I have two PRS Custom 24s from 2014. They're both very good guitars, but I'm thinking of buying another new one. Since then, PRS have moved on from V12 finish to Nitro. Now, Nitro can look great, but something I love about my PRSs is that I can leave them anywhere and not be concerned about leather straps, stands, upholstery, rubber, plasticizers, etc like I have to be with my Les Paul. Is PRS Nitro the same as Gibson's where you have to be very careful with it, or do they have a more durable, stable formula? Thanks!

I've never personally had any reactivity issues with either my gibsons or nitro PRS, fender nitro on the other hand is a different story....

I will say the nitro on my PRS's is -very- thin and chips quite easily with the smallest of bumps
