I didn’t watch the whole thing. Does he have the IR on the CL? Sounds like it’s missing some top end especially for an open back cabinet. I’m pretty happy with the FR212 and the Hypersonic FR12. Neither has a problem keeping up for me and the all the extra features of the Tonex cab are lost on my uses. I’m not a fan of open back cabs or “speaker modeling” so the CL checks zero boxes for me. I know I said it in another thread, but the CL feels like a very “why not, we have the stuff already” product and not an attempt at a high value option.

You didn't ask my why the Hypersonic better. But I'll tell you why.

A. My shop is soon to carry EVH Gear, so I get one at cost.
B. The Hypersonic doesn't look like a HRD, which I HATE the look of.
C. I realize I'm self-centered and vapid.

All 100% valid. I would have grabbed a Hypersonic (and removed the dumb name badge) INSTANTLY if it were out first.
