Pitch fine tuner?

Hello. Been out of the loop 40 yrs. Played 80’s genre. Getting back into it and making a nice list for Sweetwater. Question…
Is there a device I can plug into (and possibly the quad cortex that’s on my list)
that I can “tweak” my pitch on guitar as to match a song I may be following along with say YouTube or what have you.
I know what a shifter and ovtaver is and from what I can tell neither of these is the answer. Just need to dial up or down my instrument electronically rather than having to retune to any song that isn’t in my standard tuning. Thx for any help.

Unless you’re playing through headphones, or pretty loud, that’s going to be a terrible experience. Even headphones will proooobably be weird.

I don’t know what the terminology is in Quad Cortex, but I’d be surprised if it didn’t have a polyphonic pitch shifter capable of doing this. Though matching a record can often require adjustment at the cent level, not just semitone, which some can do and others not. It’s going to add latency, and can only be used to take all strings up/down, not create an alternate/open tuning.

Interesting.m and I understand your comment. Such a PITA to tune up a smidge, or down, and most all songs are that way. Locking trem so will add to the frustration.
