A few days ago, a guy on another forum posted a NGD thread of his DeMartiini snake guitar which I think is a really cool guitar. Well, that got the ol' hamster wheel turning, and I thought I'd see what I could come up with in Photoshop. The image below is the result....I call it "The Halenback"
Anyways, I liked the result so much that I ordered a Velocity body from Warmoth so I can try to match the Photoshopped version. I have a Grex airbrush kit that I bought about eleven years ago that I never even took out of the box, that I'm going to try to learn to use. I realize that it will take a lot of practice to achieve the desired result, especially since there's no "undo" in airbrushing, so as they say...here goes nothin'......
