Along with my recent Martin acoustic acquisition, I also ordered this Luna Vineyard Koa Concert Ukulele. While I've always admired the mellow sound of a uke, every one I ever picked up in a store felt like a cheap toy. Not this. Definitely a step above and a fine serious instrument. It'll make for some interesting tracks for sure.

I bought a ukulele 20 years ago with my kids in Hawaii. Totally went to the ukulele store and looked around and played several, picking up a $200 ukulele at the time.

I love that instrument played it on almost every beach doing my best Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.

I'm having fun with it. I just need to get used to the size. There's certainly a sound improvement with a clean playing technique. Sloppy strumming doesn't cut it.
