NPPD! Highwind Amplification / Pepers Pedals “Fire and Sword”

This came in this weekend. It’s an Orange Rockerverb preamp with additional Highwind Direwolf and Pepers Dirty Tree boost section.

The boost side is totally independent and can be used as both preamp with boost or boost for other applications. Really smart build and sounds awesome.

The Dirty Tree side is fixed. The Direwolf side allows for Tone and Gain control adjustment.

It’s a killer pedal. I liked the idea of it for a fly rig. As much as I like modeling, this, maybe and a couple good mini pedals and I’m set. Or maybe this and the HX Stomp for effects and an expression pedal.

Are you going to use this for the Maiden thing? Or too evil for that?

That’s the plan. The DW boost helps keep it tight enough. The Maiden tones aren’t Uber-Toight so I think it’ll work.
