And I’m not on call this weekend! I’ll be unboxing (no video sorry) and giving them a go. I’ll post any noteworthy observations but jump in with any of your thoughts. I think the Iommi Treble booster in to some MIAB’s/Plexi pedals and comparing that to the Plexi Ranger combo ought to be interesting! J

I am really interested in putting the Vox “Tube” Compressor at or near the end of the chain and putting it on mode “Tube Sag” to see how it performs as an amp simulator/sweetner type of addition.

Wow, the Vox is outstanding! Strings just feel alive… the amp sag setting is killer. I am very happily surprised.

Special Cranker is not for me. To me it’s not suitable for a boost, flavored boost or overdrive. Kind of like a loose bluesbreaker on steroids. The rong kind of Turbo Box if you know what I’m sayin’. I think you do. It’s going back.

The PlexiRanger is just great in my opinion. Treble booster that’s extremely flexible and adjustable right in to a CM Plexi. Boost is great on its own in to another drive. The adjustable low cut follows with it. Very nice touch.

The Laney is 100% cool and acts exactly liked I’d hoped. It can be subtle or thick and adding a bit more drive to the boost works better than any I’ve tried. It just stacks so well.

Ok, I’m tired. Been playing for hours. If anyone has any questions or wants more detail just ask.
