I bought a Keeley Zoma stereo reverb and tremolo. It's like a Strymon Flint, but better IMO.

I've been using it for the last couple of weeks with the X88-IR. I wanted an excellent plate reverb and everything else is just a bonus.

It's really good! - If you want that sort of thing (and I do) i.e. a very simple but pure stereo reverb with tremolo.

As advertised, it's really high fidelity. And it has a massive knob.

Even though I bought it for the plate reverb, the spring reverb is also good. Tasteful, in fact: It's not super splashy or drippy, but still great and probably more versatile in its application than a drippy spring (different genres and styles). My understanding is that this is more of a studio spring, rather than a combo or Fender tube spring.

The real surprise has been the pitch vibrato trem mode. I did not buy the pedal for the pitch vibrato at all, and yet I bloody love it when applied in a slow and subtle manner!

I really want to hear the Halo Core version of the Halo now, given that it's also supposed to be "high fidelity" (whatever that means), i.e. the same platform as the Zoma. There’s no doubt that that Zoma sounds pristine with no tone suck though!

I should have also mentioned that all the tremolos have a subtle touch of stereo movement. Tasteful and not overdone.

Everything about this device is "less is more".

I know, I know... cue the Yngwie quote!
