1990 custom with plenty of playing wear & tear. It belonged to a friend who bought an identical, albeit lighter, guitar to gig with. They had it fitted with new pots, pickups (Burstbuckers) and hardware. Bridge pickup sounds like a Les Paul, neck pickup is articulate and open.

Prices on black customs have soared recently so I consider myself fortunate to have scored this for a decent price.

R.I.P shoulders.

Beautiful, enjoy!

I'm a recent LPC convert, such killer Les Pauls, especially for rock/hard rock!

As for the weight, mine is just under 10 lbs, but is actually more comfortable for long gigs than my 9 lb R9. As you know, it's all about how they hang (TWSS), and for whatever reason, my LPC just hangs and sits in a way that is super comfy and doesn't bother my back or shoulders at all.

Have fun! Maybe the subject of a future video? :rawk

The pics of your '73 definitely played a part in this!
