NGD: Yamaha CPX 8

Ok, it's not new but 2nd hand, but I love it. I can even deal with the golden tuning pegs.
Thing plays really well already and the combination of piezo and mic is just great as it seems. Time for my 20+ year old Takamine to semi-retire and become a garden guitar.
Really happy with this thing so far, will see how far I can turn up the mic on the gig next saturday.

Yeah, it's a pretty fine guitar. Played two gigs with it by now, went nicely. With wedge monitoring, I do have to turn the mic down a whole lot, though, even if I have a feedback buster in the sound hole. But that was to be expected. Otherwise I'm very happy and actually find myself grabbing it a lot more often than the old Takamine already.
