Took a lil road trip down to Colorado Springs today to scoop up this ‘00 core 10 top custom 22 :

Got a prettyy good price on it and it’s in amazing shape for. 23 year old guitar. Had two dings in it but I’ll have put that many on it myself within a couple weeks. Plays and sounds amazing : like holy shit.

So I brought the custom to a partial band practice tonight (ie no bass and me and my drummer fucking up a lot of beers and bowls) and that’s where my roadster is at (so far just been playing thru JVM mostly and dabbling on Engl and deluxe)



So the first hour… panic/stress/regret.. wtf Maybe these dragon IIs actually aren’t all that… maybe my roadster just doesn’t get along with more than one of my guitars… maybe PRS actually aren’t all that…



These are the thoughts going through my head. My drummer even, who had been geeking out over the looks to the point of sending a photo shoot to his dad after a certain point was like …. “I hate to say this but I’m not sure about the tone…”



Well I can be a bit oblivious at times, and when I throw my pedalboard in the bag knobs change sometimes and I don’t even think of it. Turns out my compressor settings (which is an always on pedal) were all kinds of fucked up. Once I realized reset… god damn. This goiter sounds amazing. Like seriously. I know I’m still in honeymoon phase and I feel a bit like a traitor saying this… but it has potential to have dethroned my LP as number one…(while still being a completely different sounding and unique guitar l)





Anyway /csb and I’m sometimes a dumbass and this thing fucks hard
