New PRS Herman Li, for realz this time

If they actually do roll out an SE version of this I’d consider biting trying to get on with an SE again…

Tbh the only “discount” thing I am begging to see from PRS is some sort of S2 version of an HB….


I know it will never happen for many reasons but a boy can dream….

They have done S2 Vela Semi-HB,

as well as the Mira, Single Cut and Custom, so there may be hope yet.

I heard rumors that some of the pre-orders would start shipping this week.

After some back and forth between me, Palen Music, and their PRS sales rep, the current estimated shipping window for my charcoal purple CHLEO is mid October. :cry:

At least now that I know, I can get it out of my head and manage my expectations (until the end of September). :rofl
 
If they make an SE I’ll definitely check it out, the neck shape would be the deciding factor really. As much as I loved my semi-hollow I just couldn’t get on with that neck shape any longer.

I received a notification on Reverb that shipping information had been added to my pre-order.

That was quickly followed by a message from shop letting me know it's still a couple months out, but they generated the shipping label as part of their end of the month Reverb maintenance & bookkeeping.

The Herman Li PRS Chleo is similar to this Ibanez which I believe it’s loosely modeled after.

I love the S series but my playing skills are SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO under the bar of what those guitars look like they should be host to that it's just kinda sad :rofl
