This is great marketing yet again from JHS
The world and there wife will be online on Monday at 10am Central Standard Time when the sale goes live.
Without knowing what it is or how much it costs
I want one just for the fun of it and need to work out what that time will be in the UK ?

I actually like Josh. His constant sarcasm in his pedal videos gets tiring but his serious videos are worth watching.

Some guesses:

4 knobs, 2 LEDs, obviously a footswitch and a toggle.

I am guessing this is a RAT type pedal with a 2 Band EQ. Everyone who has watched his content knows that he is fond of them.

One of the LEDs probably tells you when the pedal is bypassed and another one only lights up when one of the RAT variant modes is activated. Regular RAT/ Turbo RAT can be chosen using a toggle switch.

Cost will be 99$.

These are cool as hell, definitely no gripes from me. A name brand pedal for $99 these days is a rarity and while the BYO aspect is a bit of a novelty, it’s fun and productive.

Actually, I've read about several users having the ribbon cable problems/failures, guess you weren't aware, which I assumed was the reason they're selling in the $50-70 range

It's appearently not a manufacturer's issue. Friend of a friend who mostly builds tubescreamer clones and knows about electronics told me that any pedal with a ribbon cable is basically safe if used in a studio while kept on a desktop, operated by hand.

Any pedal when stomped on frequently while playing live, specially some mini sized compressors are prone to failure if they have such ribbon cables inside them.

Huh? The Ross issue was not a debacle, it was simply a line of pedals for which there was less than a year's worth of demand. The notaklobn was a pretty big success for what it is and was meant to be. I have zero interest in a Dumble anything, but I am sure it will deliver decent tones for a budget price and be a fun little project for the kids.
