Hi guys! I’m building my new rig (I’ve been using a Kemper for years and, although it gave me a lot of satisfaction, I wanted to change my setup).Right now I have a Victory V40 Deluxe Mk1 head, a Red Seven Amp Central Evo, two pedals (JHS Morning Glory and Warm Audio Klon), and an FM3.
The idea is to use the rig depending on the context I’m called to play in: either simulating the amp with the Fractal and going straight into the mixer, or (if the situation allows it) bringing the head along with the Red Seven and still using the Fractal as a multi‑effects unit, with the two pedals added in.
In this second case, I’d like to run into the two overdrives first and then into the Fractal, using it both for pre‑effects and post‑effects (the Red Seven even allows a stereo send/return), and then go into the head and consequently into the Red Seven loadbox.
My question is whether there could be issues with too many AD/DA conversions, and if anyone has already dealt with this kind of hybrid rig. Thanks!
