New Behringturd Fuzz Bender Pedal 🤘

Behringturd is finally getting its long overdue respect that it so rightly deserves.
I used to use a Boss AC-2, then a guitar student gave me the brown AM100 Acoustic Modeler and I took the AC-2 off my pedalboard and the AM100 Acoustic Modeler won hands down.

Yeah I totally agree with you.šŸ‘

This does the thing.....for absolutely nothing. This is why I have love for Behringturd.... because paying more than 100usd for this...or that circuit, is laughable.

Not gonna lie... probably gonna cop one in the near future.....anyone want to trade for an op amp muff ..for one of these?

Sounds pretty good from the video. Hopefully build quality allows it to survive on a pedalboard for more than a few gigs.

I’d expect the bias to be all over the place on these, but most fuzz enthusiasts are familiar with checking and adjusting transistor bias anyway. Would be a good sign if they have trimmers inside.

Andertons say stock expected Sunday 24November.
I rang them to double check.
All other retailers sites I looked on say a few months and next May.
So not really expecting it this year.šŸ¤žšŸ™

I'm assuming it's silicon based. I've not seen anything yet that says germanium and companies can't wait to start yelling about NOS germanium parts if they've used any. That will make it a lot easier to bias if they're not dealing with leakage.

Im not interested in buying one tbh but would like to have a look inside out of sheer curiosity.

60€ over here in central EU, seems cheap enough to give it a ride even just for fun. I guess I'll have to have a closer look once they're up for grabs. Probably a fun Bender. And yes, I expect silicon for sure, much easier to mass-produce without walking right into various Ge pitfalls.

Yesterday I got a email saying a new delivery date from our suppliers is now 29 November 2024.
So it’s already moved from the 24th.
Anyone fancy a bet on the latest date changing ?🤣
Thomann are saying delivery in a few months and gear4music are saying next May 2025

Someone on TOP noticed an actual Behringturd Octavia, along with a Behringturd RMC wah pictured in their Fuzz Bender manual.

This is a outstanding pedal and Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins uses one live so that’s good enough for me šŸ‘

I also have one of these and it punches well above its price point šŸ‘

This is a much overlooked excellent Wah pedal that has no moving parts to wearout.Sounds great.🤘

Haven’t tried doing anything with it yet except taking some pictures.
Here’s some under the bonnet shots for you.
