I like the other threads out there for Helix, Fractal etc. and felt like Neural DSP deserves one. I’ve been using their plugins for a few years, and the QC is going to be my next purchase.
GO
GO
I am trialing them right now actually started w the SLOThey got errything plugins 50% off for the next 10 days.
I think the X versions are the 1st step in preparing them for porting to the QC.When did NDSP release X versions of Petrucci, Nolly, Parallax, Cory Wong and Fortin Nameless? Totally missed that.
I think I need to give some of their plugins another spin and see how I like them.

I think this is why I’d probably go for Rabea when it becomes available on the QC, specifically for that synth (unless there’s a way in QC to achieve that - I haven’t been satisfied with what the helix can do for guitar synth after playing with the Rabea trial lolI am doing just that since they have the Sale got the Soldano
Nolly and Petrucci and to be honest while they are cool I don’t hear much that if you have had the QC you could not do
Even the Petrucci that I figured the effects would be stellar only has the dual delay
No circular and cloud verbs of anything much outside of what QC offers
Nolly is probably my fav for the tones but again the effects are certainly not ground breaking
I'm gonna get the Gojira plugin I reckon. Just waiting for payday.
As well as owning a QC and quite enjoying, although definitely I didn't need to get it!!! I also own...
Nameless
Fortin NTS Suite
Darkglass
Soldano
Nolly
Cali Suite
Mark IIC+ Suite
Parallax
So yeah.... plugin compatibility would be good yah?
There already is one:felt like Neural DSP deserves one
The effects on the QC are okay. It's just easy to compare (as it should be) to it's digital competition and when you do that, it falls quite short.Thinking of picking up Parallax and one more plugin while the sale is on.
I do understand the frustration of a lot of early users about the Quad Cortex, but right after I bought mine, the Gojira plugin was released, and it is pretty excellent.
My experience may also be better because I seldom use FX. But one effect that is included in the QC that I use a lot is the doubler. Superb way to get ADT if you’re a single guitarist in a band, or even a bedroom jammer like me.
100%. , I am late to the Party but borrowed a volt interface and thought lets just do a huge Plug in fest for the next monthThe effects on the QC are okay. It's just easy to compare (as it should be) to it's digital competition and when you do that, it falls quite short.
Have you tried Gig Performer, Mainstage or Element? Not the same but you can switch via MIDI…I have Plini, Henson, Petrucci, Soldano, Cali, Tone King, and Nolly. I'm moderately interested in Parallax, Morgan, and Mateus. I'd be a hell of a lot more interested if they had a unifying plugin option to mix and match but with that dev team I don't see much hope on the horizon.
For sure. Honestly, I feel like the plugs are best for those who have a bunch of presets made on them and want to use them on the QC.will post my opinions but out of the gate I am not hearing anything in the NDSP plug ins Quad can't get 99% o

I demo’d Morgan yesterday. I really liked one of Rabea’s artist presets. It was crunchy in a soft way with some nice delay and reverb. I do think it used the AC20. Not sold on the plugin as a whole though, even at 50% off.I have MainStage but I don’t like chaining plugs. NDSP stuff is good for inspiring playing but not as much for depth.
I downloaded the trial of the Morgan and the ac20 was absolutely gorgeous sounding and inspiring. Then the other two amps were just a muddy mess. Oh well.
