New Charvel Day
Guess this is a 1986 Model 2?
Has a Kahler and an unknown pickup that sounds good. I haven't opened it up yet to check. (I think it's a super distortion, thanks Billy) I may end up replacing the pickup one day but it plays really good.
It does have a couple of scrapes on the back and a tiny little dent, nothing major at all but definitely not mint unfortunately. 8/10 imo. Top pretty flawless and one little mark on headstock face.
I decided to list my evh amp, I was willing to settle for $700 on a local deal, I saw this kid asking $1,000 for the Charvel and offered him the trade, he went for it.
I've regretted selling my 2005 reissue ever since I sold it and I guess maybe this is the next best thing?
I am not thrilled with the color at all, I would much prefer black but it is still pretty cool. Would refinishing and repainting effect the sound or guitar in any way? Never looked into doing that before but definitely considering it with this one.
Overall happy with the trade.
