I'm in a bit of a traditional amp/cab mood as of late and have sold off several modeling and digital pieces and a couple of 1x12 cabs that I really disliked.

I wanted a vertical 2x12 in the stable and decided a semi-open backed is probably more in my line of preference. Suhr released a new vertical/diagonal 2x12 for the Hedgehog last year and it checked a lot of the boxes. Very early in testing, but so far sounds great. I've never tried a Heritage G12-65 speaker. This one has the oval cutout like a D*mble setup.

Man that looks slick. Nice!

I got some more time on it this afternoon while the family was out and cranked it up a bit. Definitely has the right amount of bass for my setup and I'm glad I decided on the oval back. The PT 2x12 is probably awesome, too, for a closed back in a similar size.

The Fillmore 25 was my next test as it seems to be a bit picky on speaker choice in my experience to date. The G12-65 Heritages are sounding nice w/out much break-in yet. Looking forward to running some time on them and see how/if they change at all.
