Stumbled on a decent listing for one on Reverb (still set me back a considerable amount though) so I bit the bullet & grabbed it.

Got it from LT Guitars. Paid for it on Wednesday & it arrived probably an hour or so ago.

Had the thing unboxed, visually inspected & allowed it to reach room temperature before giving it a quick playthrough to assess core functionality which, so far, has been good.

Recorded a room-mic demo for it as well - I'll put it through its paces in the weeks / months to come.

I think that’s 2 Evil Pumpkin’s in the last month here? I didn’t think those things were going to make it into the wild!

Anxious to hear some clips after you’ve ‘learned’ it more…..and definitely anxious to see what caps ya come up with!

I recently got an amp switcher (2 heads, 1 cab) from Thomann & would like to do some quick amp A/B vids with the stuff I have at hand under a mic.

As far as caps / profiles are concerned, I'll definitely go to town on this one.
 
What’s the voicing like compared to some of the other amps that you have? I’m looking forward to trying out the captures when they’re available.

I haven't spent that much time with it to be honest since we had a family event today but if I were to describe it with what I have I'd say it's as aggressive as the Chupacabra and tight as, maybe not fully, the Badlander.
I'll be back with more, and a pack of course, as I get to spend time with it.

I wanted to sell the Chupa but have recently decided not to do so. It's a very versatile amp & I found that I like it a lot when I turn the Depth knob down almost all the way - gives the amp that juicy, punchy British midrange that gets overtaken when the Depth knob is too high.

Looks awesome! I wish they had done the Fortin badging with orange too though.

Sounds awesome, congratulations! What are you using for the recording? One of those Zoom cameras?
