NAD 2025: Ceriatone FAS50. A Work of Art

Just arrived Thursday. Yes, it’s essentially a knockoff of the SLO, but IMHO, built even better with a couple additional features.

The crunch channel is pure magic. Just perfect. The Overdrive channel still getting dialed in. Seems best with some real volume. Will know for sure when I take to a gig in a couple weeks.

FX loop is excellent. Amp arrived almost exactly four weeks after ordering from Nik.

I own a couple JCM52s from Ceriatone, and they look great inside and sound even better. The guts of this one are next level. They really keep upping their game.

I have a JCM52 from them. The chassis pics on their website was the first one sold and it’s my actual amp. Basically a 2204 with dual masters/gains and few other bells and whistles.

Congrats! The Ceriatone demo video popped up in my YT feed a couple of days ago. Sounded great there. Looking forward to reading your impressions after you get some real playtime with the amp.

Since pretty much all the tube amps I’m interested in are crawling over the $2500 mark, there’s a good chance I’d go with a Ceriatone for a future purchase, particularly the HiWatt and Butterslax models.
