Great tip. I just tried it this morning.

In addition to the fuller useful range for blending of the Treble and Normal channel volumes, there is also much more useful range on the guitar volume knob on my Cutlass, especially for getting a fuller clean / EOB on the neck pickup.

I opened up the treble knob more fully on my amp, but otherwise settings pretty much the same.

What I especially liked about this in terms of a different voicing: I swear this sounds a little more like a '59 Tweed Bassman to me with the fuller bass. Another amp that I would have liked to own, except that the Plexi is more flexible, so I don't need a '59 Bassman anymore.

Man is it fun watching someone experience their first extended period with a Superlead circuit. It does so much that you wouldn’t think an amp from the 60s would do.

Not yet, that'll come at some point. Right now I'm still in the tonal eras between '69 and '87. Though that had to take a pause to get started on the new Do Something season and it's nothin' but chugga chugga here this weekend.

or being a Swinger with the Wife on Holiday at the Senior Citizen Wintering Habitat.

Oh yeah, forgot about that pedal. :ROFLMAO: Of course Lovepedal has done it.
But you know, I don't run a TS normal, I think. Tone all the way down which does change the character a lot, and scoops it a bit but still leaves some on the top.
