For sure. And you can dial it to edge of breakup and then goose it with a drive pedal to get some incredible lead tones.

As you know, a lot of those Blackpanels are similar Tonestacks with different Output
sections. Makes me wonder if the Fender Blackpanel circuit jives with 10" speakers
better than other types of amps/circuits do. :unsure:

The tone stack in the Super is actually slightly different than the other AB763 amps, giving them less mid scoop at a higher center frequency. It seems logical that they made it different to match with the 10" speakers better, but not all of the 10" amps have the same mod and who knows what Fender was actually thinking in those days.
