My practice regimen

Fire up (random) device. CHUGCHUGCHUG. Engage 500ms delay and dual detune. Play tired original riffs I wrote 8 months ago while waiting for my synthwave project to reactivate. Rinse. Repeat.

I, too, would like to know the answer! I have been prodding Mike on it here as of late. We might get some traction by 2023

Same for me but I go with 476ms delay. I find it helps me get stronger as a player.

I used to be at 440. Then I saw somewhere on some video that 500 was better.

Hahahaha the *only* time I practice is if I write something I can’t play yet, so I’ll practice it enough so it’s ok to record, then promptly never play it again.

Overall, my practice looks like “Lay fat ass on couch, bend the D note on the B string at the 15th fret up a step, here the cool delays and say “I love that”….and that’s about it!

I work on technique at least once a day, once a year.

I'm spending my time learning another 20-30 seconds of a song that I will discard and never remember or play again. Maybe one day I can take all the 100's of little pieces and be able to play a complete song.
