Mix Checker Pro?

Anybody use something like this?

My first question would be are these just EQ curves? It can’t really take your room out of the equation either.

But, I saw it used by someone, checking their mixes to reference in a simulation and noticed the bass frequencies just completely disappeared in his mix vs ref.

Seemed like a useful tool.

basically yes. You aren’t getting any of the benefits of different acoustic spaces or how different speakers behave.

OR just use something that can stream via bluetooth and listen on other speakers or headphones for other perspectives if you don’t trust your room.
