Messin' with some Mastodon-ish tones

After going through the effort of learning Mastodon's "Oblivion" for no real reason, I decided to record a cover of it trying to utilize my amps to get in the ballpark of their tones. There's not a lot of distortion dialed in on the amps, the Electra Dyne (left) is like a mildy boosted AC/DC tone using the ED's Red channel and while the Shiva is on the boosted channel, the gain knob is just over halfway up. The picking hand is doing the majority of the heavy lifting, the second I let off the attack it's a flubby mess.
