Was planning on selling but I suddenly want/need the versatility. Crunch mode was made for this style guitar. Never liked Extreme and the MIV is too thick in the mids but the MIIC+ mode is liquid gold. Jury's out on the Ares. So damn big for that one tone - and honestly the IIC+ gets close enough. (the cab is a cheap semi-open Marshall with the new Creamback and better logo)

Dude, Extreme rules!! I love that mode. When I had mine, I lived on Fat/Xtreme. If/when they come out with a Mark VII:25, I’ll have a tough time resisting.
 
Almost sounds like diode clipping to me which I'm not a fan of. Kind of like Friedman's Sat switch. It's fun once in a while for sure though!
I always found running the bass super low, and the gain at like 10 o’clock sounded amazing. I don’t think it’s diode clipping; I thought I read that it was the Mark IV setting with no negative feedback. But I’m no amp surgeon, so I’m not sure.
