Guitars aren't perfect, these are going to all be scratch tracks unless I have enough here to edit something solid.

Even then i will be recording all tracks with my actual amp and also sending a clean signal so the mixer can reamp and blend if needed. All of these tracks I did with the AM4 which im still trying to get a perfect sound with.

Otherwise will be redoing all of the strings. We'll probably only pick four of these songs for our EP.

Anyway, just a test to listen to to be sure I didnt mess something up.

The bass used is dogshit but if you get bored and want to hear some metal.

HEAVY.

Ha! I didn’t mean it like that. All good! You just might get more interaction there, or even the recording area.

AM4 sounds awesome.
In all honesty I don't want a bunch of attention I just want like three cool people to listen to and say yeah dude that's awesome LOL. My favorite and newest song starts at 9:00. It's not finished yet though, mostly drum mapping.

I am definitely having fun with the am4 so far though it gets pretty deep and I'm starting to learn how to navigate my way through the menus.

Still havent found that "omg thats it" tone. I need to get some solid IRs added in maybe.

Sounds sick. Been a while since I've listened to a straight death metal album. I've tried to go back and listen to some of the ones I used to like and just couldn't do it. I think it's the vocals that end up ruining it for me, not because they're bad, but because they have an opportunity to add some melodic sounds to balance the rest of the music, and never do

What did you use for the drums on this and what AM4 amps are you using?

I'm pretty sure this was a 2C+ with some random editing. Still playing around trying to find the best tone.

Can't seem to dial out that mid range digital goodness if that makes any sense, just recording direct here. Drums are Ugritone, I got the everything for $99 when they thought they were going oob.

Im gonna send this dude like 30 tracks lol.

Idk if the AM4 tones here are worth keeping but if I can dial them in better i will quad track, then add one more L/R for the bigger parts........with the AM4, then with my Uber and again with a clean signal for reamp.

Mixer will have plenty of options.

Nice! I honestly never really played with the Mark amps in the Fractal units. Sounds pretty good here but definitely some stuffiness in the midrange at points. Some cuts here and there and I think it'd be killer.

I didn't realize the Ugritone stuff sounded this good. I was going to buy them in their sale but after listening to clips, I didn't really get the hype. They sounded like libraries listed at the sale price. Not a bad thing, but didn't make them an instant buy for me. I would've bought them if I'd heard these tracks! Oh well! Didn't realize they ended up getting bought out, either. Was surprised to see they had a website with new products!

They have a pretty wide variety of drum samples available to be honest with you though there's only one drum set that I even like. I do steal symbols from of their other kits though.

Their midi grooves could be much better compared to other companies out there.

But for the $99 I paid, for home made demos with a guy who cant mix for shit Ugritone works great imo.
