Hello new to this group. Santa bought me a Sheeran +looper. I’m still getting used to it so excuse the question if it seems obvious.
I’m having a delay when I’m recording or layering other instruments. Is it something in the setting that can be adjusted if I’m late pushing the pedal?
Or does it just come with practice?

Thanks for any help

i think loopers are largely a practice or prayer based initiative... theyre super fun, but ive never gotten great at syncing up multiple loops or pulling off using one live... mostly cause i DON'T practice using them for that

I am not familiar with that specific looper, but look for setting to get it to auto adjust the loop timing to help you out, and also see it it is set to stop on button press or button release.

That said, looping takes some learning unless you were born with great timing, but on the plus side, improving your timing is an important thing to work on anyway.

I'm not sure i understand the question, sorry. Are you saying you're hitting the button with your foot late so what you want to overdub comes in late?

Live looping is insane though. People who can do that consistently are very talented. One of those things were the margin of error is so small and even a small mistake is very noticeable lol.

Does it have an option to hit the button to overdub but not start recording until you play something? That way you can sit and wait till the right spot without having to time your foot and playing together.

The Looper+ doesn't have quantize ( the LooperX does). That means you have to be precise with your footswitch presses. Sometimes that means intentionally pressing it a little early get the switch to activate right on the beat.
