I have made it a mission to take unloved guitars, guitars in disrepair and breathe life back into them and find them happy homes, or commissioned to just refinish perfectly good guitars on request.
This is a project I took on. It’s a string through BCR Warlock that was damaged in transit and sent to me to fix. I don’t have before pictures of it, let’s just say, it looked like UPS used it in a javelin throw event. It needed help.
So I worked it and now I have it painted and the first few coats of gloss are on it. Still a long way to go before it’s done. But it is getting there.
I name every project. This one was called Broke-lock. Now it is transformed into a “Ride the Lightning” Warlock.
Now the biggest decision I need to make is to either level sand it or keep the hills and valleys created by the crackle.
