Live Ready Sound Quad cortex preset with 8 amp captures as way to buy capture pack

I have a Live Ready Sound JEL800 amp capture on Nano Cortex. It is really good. I went to buy the pack but it comes delivered as a singular Quad Cortex ‘preset’ with numerous amp capture blocks. Nano doesn’t do multiple amp captures…

Is it possible to access those individual captures, get them into the Nano Cortex so I can use them?

I don’t have a Nano but you should be able to use any captures in preset
Are you doing this through cortex app?
Select the presets and there should be a second screen showing captures used

If this does not work just DM

I haven’t tried it yet.
I didn’t want to buy it if I won’t be able to access it.
I know the marketplace for CloudCortex is ‘coming soon’ but I’m a senior citizen and apparently ’soon’ in Finland might mean my grandchildren will be the first of my line to use it…

Actually yes, just recently tested this and the captures are available to download on the Nano even though the preset is not.

Note, the presets that include a captured cab will not be able to load the cab as only one capture is available on the Nano.

An IR will be required for a cab.

Thanks! In the Kemper side of things there is the Red Mars I’m assuming it is th3 same amp? Vol 4 does that mean when you buy Vol 4 you are getting the previous Volumes?

I might have to break down and get the Kemper version and the QC version of the JEL 800 since I’m basically pitting the Nano against the Player so that would give me some common standards to compare them with.

I plan to keep both unless NDSP ups their game with effects for Nano but, even so, I get these compulsive urges to know which one is best at what.

Yes, the same Friedman JEL100 was used. All version are included in the download for Kemper. I seperate them so those that have bought previously and are downloading to update know which files are new.

The Kemper pack is, IMO, one of the best packs for the Kemper from all sources.

The QC pack is not as extensive as the Kemper pack.

We have a variety of Quad Cortex presets here:

Some are full rig captures and some are DI and captured cab. Details in the description.

Note, the captures work with the Nano even if the Nano is not able to load the presets. For anyone curious.
