I think everything I've previously owned has been from the same countries.

PS. I'm interested in what guitars from Finland you have owned.

Not sure about the details.

I have several American guitars, Fender, Gibson, PRS. I have a couple Chinese guitars from Squier and Epiphone. One Japanese guitar from Ibanez.

I’ve had guitars from Mexico, Korea, Indonesia previously.

Generally the USA guitars are better quality but they also have better parts and higher prices. Korean guitars have generally been quite good too. Chinese are hit or miss. May be bad luck but all my Mexican guitars have been underwhelming.

Had a used Roukangas for a short bit.
What made you sell it and what did you replace it with?

I've played a few, including a one off that had a 25000 euro price tag on it...they've all been really well built and I kick myself for not buying one of the Strat/Tele types when they were cheaper.

Dunno; don't care. The one piece of gear that I have had difficulty re-selling due specifically to its country of origin is, oddly, probably one of the finest electrics I've owned: a made in Japan Bacchus Handmade series HSS Strat.

Damned if I remember. There was a time in the years before the 2007-2008 crash where finances were good and really killer used guitars at great prices were easy to find. I was cycling through stuff like crazy.

D'Pergo, McInturff, Roukangas, Mayones, McNaught, Melancon, Vigier, ....

Since we were talking teles the other day and the name Melancon has been dropped........

:chef What ya think @laxu

I know my Strat was made in Fenders Ensenada factory in Mexico and my LP was made in Gibsons Tennessee factory in USA.

Everything else I have no idea where it was made and never really cared.
