I bought some gunsight paint first. And it worked great for glowing side dots- for about ten minutes.

Then I grabbed some reflector tape I’d bought for my mountain bike and just cut it into little strips. Works great on a dark stage.

Love it! I haven’t had good luck with the glow in the dark side dots either. Usually I take a long, thin strip of fluorescent green gaff tape and put it along the length of the fretboard and re-draw the side dots on that with a sharpie. Definitely going to look into some reflector tape.
