At lower volumes......Amazing! They sound awesome! Great clarity, nice bottom and and no grating frequencies.
Tried them with the Badlander and the VII. Both great. Have to up the high end just a slight bit more.

Will try them at rehearsal tonight at a much higher volume and see how things go!

So far so good!

OK. So here is my report:

Fantastic! Plenty of punch, bottom, clarity and no flubbing.
Both clean and mean sound fantastic!

I adjusted the presence a bit and all good. That will change with some break-in time.

Happy and my back is a bit happier as well.

Now I have a bunch of V30s that have to go up for sale for cheap.

Very nice!

I'd love to see one of these with a hemp cone.
Although I may just grab their hempback, looks like they're available now.

I also recently got a Neo V-Type for my Vumble cab.

I like it. The revolution starts here!

By all accounts, the top end of the Neo is a little smoother than the ceramic V-Type which has a slight spike in the high end.

The Neo V-Type might be the Everything Bagel of speakers :D

La Szum must never read any of this.

That was my reaction to the Celestion Century Vintage Neo and it's become one of my favorite speakers. Unfortunately it's no longer in production but the V Type Neo sounds like it could be a viable substitute.

Of course at $165 they're more expensive than the Century Vintage Neos I picked up from Parts Express when they were blowing them out for $69 but $165 is still a reasonable price for a killer speaker that also helps to reduce weight.
