Laney Ironheart Foundry - Question

Hi all, new member here. Long story short: I am in the market for a budget tiny solid state amp, and this Laney got my attention. Since I can't buy it in my country and I'm pretty much forced to " blind buy " it from another country, I just have a short 2 questions if anyone here owns this amp. 1) Does it take pedals well ? 2) What is the level of like white background noise when playing clean ? Thanks in advanced for return answer and information.

I've got the latest iteration (Martin Miller BCC version, not the original).

Takes pedals fine. I use it as my main gigging rig these days (cover band doing everything from 60s pop to Sex Pistols punk) and run a bunch of stuff in front and in the loop. Currently signal chain is TU-2 > Blehringer SF300 > Mud Honey II > Dark Matter > TC Vortex > Ironheart > DD-6 > SA Collider. Previously there's been a Rat and a MojoMojo on there, CE-5, BF-2 (coming back I think, and Vortex going). Worked great with all of them.

Obviously also use both channels and the boost (and reverb) on the amp itself.

For rehearsal I run into into a 16 ohm 1x12, live into an 8 ohm 2x12 and also direct to desk to put some in the foldback and spread FOH.

There is a bit of hiss at idle, but I wouldn't say it's intrusive unless you have the gain absolutely cranked on channel 2. Not enough to be heard over room chatter when playing live.

My bad. I was talking about the amplifier , Head one , Leadtop version. I was just too lazy to put whole stuff in the title, my bad.
But yeah, head , Ironheart Leadtop Foundry is for sale in one online music shop for 199 $ and it is in my narrower choice to buy.

PS. but thanks for the post above, maybe someone will find that information useful so ...

Ah, right, no clue about the head, sorry. Bloody Laney - too many things with similar names and too many "extra words" for normal people!
