Drawing attention to the two halves of the chassis with such offsetting colors is bad imo. This is what I came close to ordering. With 4 channels/colors the logo can do all the talking.

I was thinking this same color scheme when I saw your first post. Yeah, it's just gray and darker gray -- but it looks tight and better balanced.
From a visual design perspective I'd certainly change some things, but hey it's not my company or product so they should do what they like! As long as they sound good -- that's the first priority.

I saw Stryper in 1987 and they blew my mind. Still one of the best live shows I have ever seen.
