Jamming with tracks solution needed

But I prefer to play the music from a music player. I don't want to load individual tracks into a DAW. I want to put on an album and play every song on it, then maybe redo that, or move on to the next one. The purpose is to brush up on some things I haven't played in a while and get back to having those songs DOWN and ready to play live
I usually play through ampsims in my DAW and either load songs in my DAW or start Tidal or Spotify or locally stored .mp3's, .flac's whatever (on same pc) and let it play songs while I'm jamming along. That way you can put on an album. You can play a mediaplayer playing locally stored files or streaming service same time with your DAW. It does work for me this way on Windows.

Loading a single song in a DAW makes it easier to slow certain parts down though which can be usefull for practicing.
