A few weeks ago I got a first. The head off a J200 which is very rare because it is maple.
Here is the after picture.
I later decided I should have replaced the whole E side transition binding because you can see the joint at the place where the head was off.
The reason I posted this was this last week I have had 4 more Gibson and 2 Epiphone J200s ( not head breaks ) . And I wanted to say quite how good the Epiphone ones are getting.
