Is there any realistic reason for all electric guitar necks not to be made out of roasted maple?

I'm pretty sure this is the darkest EVH Standard neck in existence, bought it from Stratosphere this way, they had no idea why it was made so dark, I had to have it..super stable, I've never had to adjust it since putting it on 2 years ago

Isn't the whole Roasted Maple thing a direct result of the Rosewood crisis a decade or so back??? :idk
No but Gibson tried a dark roast instead of rosewood. Almost everyone hated it. Torrified wood was a thing for house cladding before it was tried out in guitars. I would say it isn’t the stability fix all that it is sold as and darker wood roasts should be avoided as the wood becomes compromised structurally . Ironically it’s best feature is tone.

It strips and cracks substantially easier than regular maple. It’s also not as inert as you would be led to believe. A perfect example of quarter sawn regular maple with carbon reinforcements is probably the best option from a engineering perspective but roasting is good for tone too.
Yep,

Got a custom-built Superstrat about 15 years ago. Carbon fiber neck rods in, actually can't remember having to ever tweak the rod.
