This is an instrument that probably no one else is aware but I am a HUGE fan of.. I'm a huge Carvin ST300C fan.. I'm seriously geeked because I have my 3rd inbound. They are fairly rare... Here are the first two

And the 3rd that is inbound

I have the disease.. This will be #33 in my collection of guitars. Floyd equipped easy 24th fret access 25" scale.. I can't pass up a ST300C.. If I had to reduce to 10.. It would be my St300Cs, my Gibsons, my N4s and a Bass :guiness:sofa

Shit!!! I forgot about this one .. my Carvin CS4C.. This seriously complicates the 10 guitar rule

So if I understand right, the ST300C is basically neckthru superstrat with a 25" scale instead of 25.5"?

Overall the design seems very similar to my Carvin C66 (which is bolt-on, 25.5" scale):

No, I owned a C66 and there is a big difference between the two. Not similar at all. As you mentioned, the number of frets, scale length and neck thru vs Bolt differences are very significant. The neck contours are different. The upper fret access on the ST300 is rivaled only by my RG1550. No pup rings vs Pup rings on the ST300Cs. That seemingly minor difference is huge for me. Love the Teal finish on yours :beer

I love neck throughs. Better upper fret access and you get all vibrating parts attached to the same piece of wood or laminated section.
