Calluses. That's a weird-sounding word.
I was having trouble sticking my H/O-P/O's on the low E, so I actually had to take some meat off, and get back to the fleshy part to give me some grip.
Just thought I'd share that.
(Callus: Thickened layers of skin, often on the hands or feet, where friction repeatedly occurs. Calluses can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease, such as playing one's guitar for more than a few minutes just noodling and comparing cool tones.)
